Frida the mascot for For the Love of Dog USA cause will receive a commendation from the Board of Supervisors on November 18th, 2014 at San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, Room 250 (Board Chamber) at 2:30 p.m.
Frida was adopted by Dean Clark at the SPCA several years ago and has been advocating for rescue dogs through the For the Love of Dog USA cause. Frida has been participating every year in the Saint Patricks Day Parade in SF (adopt a rescue contingent). Frida also participates in the monthly meeting of the San Francisco Chihuahua Meet Up Group that meets the first Sunday of every month at Stern Grove Dog Park.
Frida is a long term resident of San Francisco and would like to see equal rights for all dogs across the city as Mayor. Frida is a mother of two who enjoys chicken with rice and long walks at the beautiful San Francisco parks. She loves cuddling and kisses, and is very sweet.
